Installation

StickViz is a lightweight Windows application. It installs in seconds and runs entirely on your local machine — no account required for the free tier.

System Requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
  • Streaming software: OBS Studio 28+ (or any app that supports Browser Sources)
  • Input devices: Any USB HOTAS, joystick, throttle, or rudder pedals
  • Disk space: ~10 MB installed

Install Steps

  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer. No administrator privileges are required.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts. StickViz installs to your user folder by default.
  3. When the installer finishes, StickViz launches automatically and appears as a tray icon in your Windows taskbar notification area.

First Launch

  1. Plug in your HOTAS devices via USB.
  2. Right-click the StickViz tray icon and select Open Dashboard.
  3. In the dashboard, open the Devices tab. Your connected devices should appear in the list within a few seconds.
  4. Click Open Overlay Preview (or copy the overlay URL from the tray menu) to see the real-time visualization.

Uninstalling

Open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find StickViz in the list, and click Uninstall. All application files and settings are removed.
